Take-back Credit: a simple, affordable option

To get a credit on your monthly payments using the Videotron Business Take-back Credit program, all you have to do is:

  • Select one of our eligible devices and activate it by subscribing to a Mobile plan with a 24-month agreement.
  • At the end of the agreement, return your mobile device in good condition* to a store near you, select a new device, and subscribe to a Mobile plan with a new agreement. If you wish to keep your device, simply reimburse the discount that was granted over the course of the agreement and continue as-is with your current Mobile plan.

* To be eligible for the take-back credit, the mobile device must be in good condition, that is, it must meet the following criteria:

Aesthetics: The device’s display and casing must be free of any shatters, grooves (nail-deep), and fissures. The glass display must stay attached and not lift. The device must have only original parts. The device must be free of any signs of liquid damage—no LCI should be activated. The device must have a battery that is in good condition. The battery casing must be present. The device must not be customized (free of paint and stickers).

Features: The device must pass key features tests (charging, home button, display, charging port, camera). Activation lock must be disabled (that is, FMiP, Android lock, etc.). Lock screen, PIN lock, and password lock must be disabled. Any personal information must be saved by the customer beforehand; the device must be reset. The device must be free of halos, white spots, and discolouration. The device must not be jailbroken.
