Downloading and Installing the Helix TV app
iOS
- Click on this link to get the Helix TV app from the App Store
- Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation.
- To sign in to the app, use the same ID name and password that you use for your Videotron Customer Centre account.
Android
- Click on this link to get the Helix TV app from the Play Store.
- Install the app by following the instructions on your screen.
- To sign in to the app, use the same ID name and password that you use for your Videotron Customer Centre account.
You can now explore all the entertainment options that the Helix TV app has to offer!
Minimal configuration required
A compatible iOS or Android device is required to use the Helix TV app. Here are the minimum requirements for each system.
Requirements for all devices
To use the Helix TV app, the following requirements must be met:
- You must have subscribed to Helix TV service.
- The content you want to access must be on a channel that's included in your package.
- Your device must have an active Internet connection when the app is in use, via either a Wi-Fi network, or a 3G or 4G network.
- To stream in-home live TV, you must be connected to your home network.
Note: using a cellular network may incur data charges.
iOS
To use the Helix TV app with your Apple device, the following requirements must be met.
Compatible with the following mobile devices and cellphones:
- iPhone 5S and the latest models (optimized for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+)
- iPad Air
- iPad Mini 2+
- iPad 5th generation and the latest models
- iPad Pro
- iPod Touch 6th generation
Your Apple device must be running iOS 12 or later. AirPlay is not compatible with the app.
Android
Any smartphone or tablet running Android 7+ or later is compatible with the app. Your device must be running this version of the Android operating system or later to download the Helix TV app from the Google Play Store or the Amazon Appstore.
Attention: Android versions 4.0, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 and 5.0 are no longer supported. If your device is running one of these versions, you will be able to use the Helix TV app, but you won't be able to update it without upgrading to Android 7+.
Using the Helix TV app on a desktop computer
To view Helix TV content on a computer (PC or Mac), the latter must be compatible with the app. Here are the minimum requirements for each system.

- You must have a compatible cable modem or wireless gateway.
- Your computer must be connected to the Internet, either through your home Wi-Fi network or a 3G or 4G network, to view content that's available anywhere.
Note: using a cellular network may incur downloading data charges. Please check the terms of your data plan.
Accessing the Helix App
To access the Helix TV app from a computer, go to Helix TV app website.
- Click Sign In and follow the instructions.
