Videotron has deployed its 5G network in Montréal and several areas of the South Shore and North Shore, in and around Québec City and Lévis, in and around Sherbrooke in the Eastern Townships, and in the Saguenay and Jonquière areas in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean. Over the next few years, Videotron plans to gradually expand its coverage to the entire network.

To develop the 5G network, a number of small antennas need to be installed in strategic locations to provide ultrafast speed. These small antennas could be placed on urban property and on the walls of some buildings. The antenna layout will be determined in close collaboration with local authorities.
