How to use Call Waiting
There are several options when a waiting call comes in.
Warning : Command and button names may vary depending on phone models and providers.
iPhone
- During a call, press End & Accept or Hold & Answer.
- If you’ve put a call on hold, press Swap to switch between calls or Merge Calls to talk to both callers at the same time.
- Press End Call to end the current call and automatically switch to the waiting call.
Samsung
- During a call, drag the green Call icon from left to right to answer the incoming call.
- Press Hold or End Call.
- If you’ve put a call on hold, select the Switch option to switch between calls.
- Press the End Call icon to end the current call and automatically switch to the waiting call.
Others (Android)
- During a call, use the green Call icon to answer the incoming call or select Answer & End Other Call.
- If you’ve put a call on hold, select the Switch option to switch between calls.
- Press the End Call icon to end the current call and automatically switch to the waiting call.
If you have subscribed to Videotron Business Voicemail service, the call will go to voicemail if you ignore it. If you have not subscribed to Voicemail, your second caller will hear a busy signal.
How do I make a three-way call on my mobile device?
If you are speaking with someone on your mobile device and wish to add a third caller, you need to set up a three-way call.
It is possible to connect up to six people with the Three-way Calling option. Here is the procedure:
- During a call, you must put the first caller on hold.
- Then press Add Call.
- Using the keyboard, dial the number of the person to be added or access your list of contacts and select a number.
- Click Merge. This will start the three-way call.
Warning : The Three-way Calling is totally free when it’s used inside your call coverage area. If you talk with people outside your area, there may be additional fees.
