Galaxy AI (Samsung): to simplify all your communications
Galaxy AI is now integrated into several Samsung Galaxy devices, allowing businesses and their users to enjoy enhanced productivity and reimagined collaboration. A first feature, Live Translate, breaks down language barriers between your staff, customers, or business partners during a call. The interlocutors only have to discuss in their own respective language, which will then be translated instantly for the benefit of the other participant.
Samsung also wants to make your meetings more efficient with its Transcript Assist feature. Galaxy AI transcribes meetings in real time, then summarizes them and allows you to share the summary with other participants. A smart dictaphone, in a way, that promises to distinguish up to ten speakers per meeting.
As for call centre employees, they now have the ability to respond to customers with AI in control, thanks to the Chat Assist feature. Whether it's to optimize the tone being used, choose the right wording, or automatically translate received and sent text messages, your employees will be able to easily respond to all requests to ensure the satisfaction of your customers.
Apple Intelligence: to simplify and speed up everyday tasks
Much like Galaxy AI, Apple Intelligence's Summary feature is likely to appeal to staff involved in many meetings. Gone are the days of having to take handwritten notes and write long reports. The Notes and Phone apps will now allow you to record meeting content, convert audio to text, and get the summary of it, courtesy of AI.
In addition, employees typically spend a considerable amount of time responding to emails. They will now be able to use the Smart Reply feature in Mail to follow up on their messages without omitting details, thus increasing efficiency. Apple Intelligence will identify the questions that were asked in the initial message to suggest relevant information to include in the response. It's a bit like one of your colleagues making sure that all the messages are well fleshed out before they’re sent!
Smart Writing Tools capable of revising your texts, rewriting them until the desired style is obtained and summarizing them, are also available to users. So, which mobile devices should you consider to take advantage of all these features? Apple Intelligence is now available in beta on all iPhone 16, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max models with the system language and Siri Assistant set to US English, via an iOS 18 update. Canadian English is scheduled for December, and French in 2025.
Gemini AI (Google): full integration with Google's ecosystem
Companies that swear by Google's various cloud applications—Gmail, Calendar, or Google Drive, for example—may be better off discovering Gemini, the generative AI shaped by the Mountain View giant. This full integration with the ecosystem could, for example, allow your field reps to efficiently plan their trips with Google Maps and Google Flights.
