Accessing the call recording platform
The call recording portal is in the cloud. To access the portal, you must select the link that corresponds to the server on which your Cloud Communications solution is hosted:
- Cloud Communications server 2 or Webex Solution: callrecording.videotron.com
- Cloud Communications server1: callrecorder.videotron.com
After making your selection, enter your login credentials.
Play recordings
The media player allows users to play recordings and access information about them.
The top of each recording displays the information related to it: on the left, the name of the service user, the name or number of the other party, and the arrow indicating the direction of the call, from the caller to the called party; either from the name to the number (outgoing call) or from the number to the name (incoming call). The duration, date, and time of the recording are shown on the right.
There are two buttons to the right of the media player. Thanks to the "star" button, it is possible to highlight a recording, so that it can be found more easily. In the context of the full recording view, the "multi-select" button allows you to select multiple recordings and perform a function, such as adding labels to a group of recordings, to categorize them.
When you play back a recording, the playback indicator, which is a blue vertical line with a circle in the centre, lets you know where the playback is at. Using the drag-and-drop function, you can move the playback line to any position in the recording to play another part of it, if needed.
