Background noise
If you notice that the background noise is becoming increasingly loud during the phone conversation, the problem may cause a short-circuit. Have your internal wiring checked.
Make sure to turn off or move away any sources of interference near the modem or phone (ex.: wireless router, microwave, etc.).
Electronic noise
Disconnect the modem from the wall socket. If the noise disappears, plug the modem into a different socket.
I hear an echo on the line, but the person I’m speaking to doesn’t. What should I do?
Check if the problem is occurring on all your phones.
If the problem is occurring on only one phone, it could be that the volume is too high. Turn the volume down and see if the problem continues.
If the problem is occurring on all your phones and persists after you’ve turned down the volume, please contact us
