During his visit, the technician takes the time to assess your needs and browsing habits, as well as the number of connected devices and where you will use them in your home.
Thanks to his expertise, he will determine the ideal location for your equipment and relocate the coaxial outlet if necessary, so you may enjoy an optimal experience and Wi-Fi coverage.
In addition to installing and configuring your Helix equipment, the technician ensures your network’s performance is optimal. He synchronizes your TV sets and up to five of your connected devices (e.g., smartphone, tablet, computer) and makes sure your Helix equipment is functioning properly.
Base on your home’s layout, he can also suggest that you optimize your Wi-Fi network using Wi-Fi pods (pods not included).
Before leaving, the technician demonstrates how to use the main Helix features based on your specific needs, including how to search for content using voice commands, recordings, On Demand content, the Sports App, the Kids Zone and Parental Control.
He also gives you some useful tips on how to use the Helix TV and Helix Fi apps, as well as a quick overview of My Account, where you can track your data usage, manage your payment method and view your invoices.
