Google’s Chromecast is a device that streams content from a smartphone or tablet to another screen. All types of content available with the Helix TV App service can be streamed via Chromecast: live broadcasts, On Demand content, recordings, etc.

Why use the Helix TV app with an Amazon Fire device?

Amazon Fire comes in different formats that allow you to stream content from a variety of platforms, including the Helix TV app. You will have access to your Helix TV content catalogue and be able to use most of the app’s features, such as programming and viewing recordings, accessibility options, Parental Control, etc.

Why use AirPlay with the Helix TV App?

AirPlay is an Apple Wi-Fi protocol used to stream content from an iPhone or iPad to a compatible device (AppleTV, smart TV, speakers, etc.). Your live channels, On Demand content and recordings available with the Helix TV App service can be streamed using AirPlay.
