Several weeks have passed since the massacre that shook Montreal … and since Eve discovered the truth about her son’s disappearance. It’s time to get back to work. Maryse has been discharged from the rehabilitation centre, but she is still suffering from the after-effects of her attack. She suspects the Mafia and others … including Bernard. Her memories are hazy, but she knows that with Eve, she will finally be able to put a face on her attacker. Anto has grown up. In a relationship with Simon, he does everything to forget that he killed a man. Besides, he feels a lot of friction between Simon and Élektra. Eve also tries to reconnect with her son … and to make peace with her past. Does one act—no matter how horrible—define us forever? This is the question that Eve and the other members of the Unit will have to answer.

The crime series mixing thriller and human drama presents the daily life of Ève Garance, an exceptional portraitist able to “read” people, and her three colleagues of the investigation unit: Maryse Ferron, the Cartesian director whom disability has never stopped, Bernard “Molosse” Dupin, the older, larger-than-life investigator who also hides a great deal of darkness, and Anthony Kamal, the new crime scene technician who doesn’t know what he’s getting into.
