Police officer Jean-François “JF” Lelièvre is repatriated from Thailand by Sam Burke, the head of the Sécurité du Québec (SQ) Organized Crime Unit, for which he works. The SQ is launching the largest anti-mafia operation in its history and JF will have to lead the operation with his colleagues Kalila Jamel and Charles Olivier Latortue. But JF has a secret friendship with one of the mafia’s lieutenants, Mario Vietti. He finds himself investigating Mario and his criminal gang led by godfather Cesare Ciccarelli. Torn between their professional duty and their friendship, the two men will try to play a double game, hiding their special relationship from their respective colleagues and accomplices.
