Frequently asked questions about the Helix + Hilo offer
Hilo helps you save money in two ways: by consuming wisely and at the right time. Earn cash rewards by completing energy reduction challenges and reduce your electricity bill by programming your connected devices.
In addition to the Hilo thermostats required for the Hilo service, you can control all your connected devices that operate using the ZigBee protocol with the Hilo app. That said, devices that are not sold by Hilo will be excluded from Hilo challenges.
Hilo is also compatible with Google and Alexa voice assistants but is not currently compatible with Apple HomeKit and Google Nest smart devices.
