Renting Helix equipment online
You can rent Helix TV terminals, directly on My Account.
The first Helix TV terminal rental is included in your TV plan. Additional terminals are available for rent at $5/month.
- On the Services and equipment tab, scroll down to the My Helix equipment section.
- Click the Manage my equipment button, then Order new equipment.
- On the Helix TV Terminal Rental tile, click Add this equipment, then select how many you want and click Continue.
- Select the installation mode and click Continue.

- Verify the delivery options, then click Finalize my order to confirm.
Your new equipment will be delivered within 48 to 72 business hours. Learn more about terms of delivery.
Activate Helix equipment purchased from a third party
When you purchase a Helix TV terminal or Wi-Fi pods elsewhere than at Videotron, you’ll need to activate your equipment online in My Account.
Bought a used Helix TV terminal?
To ensure that the terminal activation and remote pairing go smoothly, reset the devices before activating them.
- On the Services and equipment tab, scroll down to the My Helix equipment section.
- Click the Manage my equipment button and then Add your own equipment.
- On the corresponding tile, click Add this equipment, then Continue.
- Choose the installation mode and click Continue.

- Read over your order summary and click Continue to confirm.
Buy Helix equipment online
You can purchase, Wi-Fi pods, voice remotes, or power cables for your Helix Fi gateway or Helix TV terminal directly on My Account.
Need to replace your rented equipment’s remote control or power cable?
Contact Technical Support or visit a Videotron store to exchange your accessory for free.
- On the Services and equipment tab, scroll down to the My Helix equipment section.
- Click the Manage my equipment button, then Order new equipment.
- On the equipment tile, select how many you want, click Add this equipment, then Continue.
- Read over your order summary and click Continue to confirm.

Remove Helix equipment online
Have multiple rented Helix TV terminals and would like to remove one?
Make sure not to remove the terminal marked as “Included,” as this will cause you to lose your free rental. If you’re unsure, check the serial number on the label under the terminal.
- On the Services and equipment tab, scroll down to the My Helix equipment section.
- Click the Manage my equipment button, then Remove equipment.
- Click Delete on the appropriate equipment’s tile.
- Select the reason for removal from the drop-down menu, for example Disconnected, and click Continue.
- Choose how you would like to return the removed equipment and click Continue.
- Read over your order summary and click Proceed to checkout to confirm.
You have 30 days to return the removed terminal and its remote control to the store, otherwise you will be charged for this equipment. For more information, see Returning equipment: what goes back to the store?
