Programming using the code list
This allows you to manually program a device according to the brand. To identify the codes for your device, see the list of codes.
- Hold down the TV and PROG buttons until the red light stays on.
- Enter the first code.
- If the code is valid, the light will turn off and the code in question will be kept. Otherwise, the LED will flash twice and stay on. The remote control will then remain in configuration mode.
- If necessary, return to step 2 and test another code.
- Point the remote control at the TV and press the TV button to check if it turns on.
- If the TV doesn’t turn on, repeat the procedure with the following code.
Setting up the volume control
This allows you to configure the remote to control the TV volume when in CBL mode.
Important: Before setting up volume control, adjust the volume of the DTA as high as it will go as you will no longer be able to change it.
- Hold down the TV and PROG buttons until the red light stays on.
- Press the VOL+ button to control the TV volume or VOL- to control the terminal volume.
Other programming method in case of failure
This allows you to find a compatible programming code for your device from the list of codes in the remote control.
- Turn on the TV.
- Hold down the TV and PROG buttons until the red light stays on.
- Point the remote control at the TV, then press TV.
- The LED will flash at each new tested code.
- If necessary, press CH+ to go to the next code or CH- to try the previous code again.
- When the TV turns off, press PROG to save the code.
