Programming using the code list
This allows you to manually program a device according to the brand. To identify the codes for your device, see the list of codes.
- Turn on the device to be programmed.
- Hold down OK/SELECT and MUTE until the mode buttons (TV, VCR, DVD, AUD, CBL) light up in slow rotation.
- Point the remote control at the device, then enter the codes one at a time.

- If the device turns back on, press OK/SELECT to lock in the code.
- If MUTE doesn’t turn the device back on, repeat steps 2 to 5 with the following code.
- When the device turns off and turns back on, programming is successful.
Setting up the volume control
This allows you to select the device whose volume will be controlled by the remote. For better audio quality, go to Volume Control and select On the TV in the terminal settings.
If you have a First Generation illico terminal, change the Audio: Volume Ctrl option to Fixed.
- Hold down the CBL and OK/SELECT buttons until the CBL button lights up in red.
- Press the VOL+ button.
- Press TV, AUD (audio system), or CBL (terminal) depending on the device whose volume you want to control.

This button also can be programmed to operate the input function on the VCR.
- Hold down the Video Source and OK/SELECT buttons until the CBL button lights up in red.
- Press the TV or VCR button to operate the input function on the device you want.
