Programming using the code list
This allows you to manually program a device according to the brand. To identify the codes for your device, see the list of codes.
- Turn on your TV.
- Press and hold the SET button until the red light flashes twice, then release.
- Enter the manufacturer’s code. The red light will flash twice.
- Press the PWR button. If the TV turns off, programming is done.
- If not, repeat steps 2 to 4, using the following manufacturer’s code.
Setting up the volume control
This allows you to select the device whose volume will be controlled by the remote. For better audio quality, go to Volume Control and select On the TV in the terminal settings.
If you have a First Generation illico terminal, change the Audio: Volume Ctrl option to Fixed.
- Turn on your TV.
- Press and hold the SET button until the red light flashes twice, then release.
- Enter code 9, 9, 3. The red light will flash twice.
- Press 1 to control the volume of the terminal or 2 to control the volume of the TV.
- Press the SET button to confirm. The red light will flash, then turn off.
Other programming method in case of failure
This allows you to find a compatible programming code for your device from the list of codes in the remote control.
- Turn on your TV.
- Press and hold the SET button until the red light flashes twice, then release.
- Enter code 9, 9, 1. The red light will flash twice.
- Press CH+ multiple times until the TV turns off. This operation may take several minutes as all codes are tested one by one.
- Once the TV turns off, press SET to lock in the code.
