Frequently asked questions about illico+
To enjoy the illico+ experience as a Videotron customer, log in to your customer account and add the service to your plan. Once you have completed the addition, your new subscription and the associated fees will take effect immediately.
If you are not a Videotron customer, you can subscribe to the illico+ app. This will give you access to content on your mobile devices and on the Web, as well as streaming on TV with Chromecast, AirPlay, Fire TV, Apple TV, Google TV, and Samsung. To subscribe, simply create an account.
The plan with ads is available on the illico+ app for Videotron Mobility and Helix Internet customers, as well as non-Videotron customers. On Helix TV, illico+ does not currently have ads.
The plan with ads is available at a lower cost, but includes a certain number of ads throughout the various content.
As a Helix TV or Helix TV App customer subscribed to illico+, you can access content in several ways:
- On your Helix TV interface in the On Demand or Apps section.
- On the Helix TV app, available on your mobile phone or tablet, your Chromecast, AirPlay, Apple TV, and Fire TV connected devices, and your Samsung and LG smart TVs.
- On your computer by visiting helix.videotron.com.

A monthly subscription is required to access illico+ with a Helix TV, TV App, or illico TV plan, online at illicoplus.ca and helix.videotron.com, and on tablet and mobile via the Videotron apps. Content availability varies by platform and is subject to change at any time. Viewing content online requires an Internet connection and may lead to extra data usage fees, which shall be borne by the customer. These services are available where technology permits. The subscription rate for access to illico+ varies depending on the TV plan chosen.
illico+ video streams
The illico+ app subscription allows for a limit of two simultaneous video streams on two different devices. Simultaneous video streaming limits for Videotron customers differ: Five simultaneous video streams for Helix TV customers, and two simultaneous video streams for illico TV customers.
illico+ downloads
Downloading content requires a Wi-Fi network connection and uses up data. Available for selected content. Downloaded content is accessible for 30 days only. Maximum of 15 downloads per device.

A monthly subscription is required to access illico+ online at illicoplus.ca, and on mobile, tablet, and smart TV via the illico+ app. Billing cycles begin on the day of subscription. Only Canadian residents can subscribe to the service. The illico+ app subscription allows for a limit of two simultaneous video streams on two different devices.
