How to access the Apple TV+ app
To launch the Apple TV+ app on your TV, you can:
- Use the voice command and say “Apple TV+,” “Apple TV,” or “TV+”
- Press the HELIX button on your remote and select Apple TV+ from the App section in the menu, under Entertainment
The Apple TV+ home screen will open with a “You’re entering a third-party app” notification to let you know that this is not a Videotron product.
The Apple TV+ content is integrated into the Helix catalogue. Selecting this content from the catalogue will therefore automatically launch the app.
Returning to Helix TV from Apple TV+
To exit the Apple TV+ app, you can:
- Press Exit or HELIX on your remote to return to the TV
- Press Guide on your remote to return to the Guide
How to sign in to Apple TV+
The Apple TV+ app has a “Free connected” mode, allowing non-subscribers to access first episodes of certain series. A subscription is required to access all content on the platform without advertising.
The Apple TV+ app syncs across all your devices to keep the profiles created, favourites, and saved settings.
You must sign in to your Apple account the first time you use the app on Helix TV.
- Launch the Apple TV+ app.
- Select Sign In or Sign Up, then scan the QR code displayed onscreen using your mobile, OR go to https://link.apple.com on your PC or your mobile device, and enter the code that appears on the TV.
- Follow the instructions on your device to log in your Apple account.
- Select the desired profile.
Note : A credit card must be linked to the account to subscribe or to access free content.

How to search for Apple TV+ content
With the voice command
You can search for specific content by naming the title of what you want to find. For example, say “Presumed Innocent” if you’re already in the app.
You can also do a general search by genre, actor, director, or other. Apple TV+ content related to your query will appear in the list of results.
From the Apple TV+ app
In the Apple TV+ menu, the Search (magnifying glass icon) option allows you to search for specific content. Depending on the precision of the keywords entered, several content matches for your query will appear. For example, if you enter a title that is not in the Apple TV+ listings, other titles that are similar in genre, director, or actors will be suggested.
To find Apple TV+ content to watch, you can also browse suggestions in the many categories offered. The more content you watch, the more the recommendations will be tailored to your tastes.
