Support using the Prime Video app on Helix TV

Prime Video app on Helix TV gives you easy access to a wide selection of exciting content, such as Amazon Originals, popular movies, and series available on Prime Video.

To launch the Prime Video app on your TV, you can:

• Use the voice command and say “Prime Video”
• Press the HELIX button on your remote and select Prime Video from the App section in the menu, under Entertainment
   

The Prime Video home screen will open with a “You’re entering a third-party app” notification to let you know that this is not a Videotron product.

The Prime Video app has a Guest mode, allowing non-subscribers to browse the content catalogue. Launch Prime Video and select Browse Videos on-screen.

The first time you use the app on Helix TV, you must sign in to start Prime Video.

1. Launch the Prime Video app.
2. On the screen that appears, select Sign in.
3. Scan the QR code on the screen with your mobile device.
4. Once you are logged in, the Prime Video profiles screen will automatically appear on your TV.
    

You can also sign in on the web using a computer or mobile device.

1. Go to PrimeVideo.com/mytv.
2. Log in or create an account.
3. Enter the code that appears on your TV screen.
4. Once you are logged in, the Prime Video profiles screen will automatically be displayed on your TV.
    

Prime Video features

The Prime Video app on Helix TV offers all the features you’re used to and more:

• Profile creation
• Watchlist by profile
• Multi-language captions and audio options
• Parental control
• Autoplay
• Multi-platform resume play
• Ultra HD 4K content

You can have up to six Prime Video user profiles. Each profile has individual recommendations, season progress, and a Watchlist based on each user’s activity.

1. Launch the Prime Video app.
2. From the Prime Video app menu at the top of the screen, select the profile icon.
3. To create a new profile, select New, then enter a name and choose a profile picture.
4. To edit an existing profile, select the profile you want to edit, then select Edit below it. You can then change the profile name and picture.
    

With the voice command

You can search for specific content by naming the title in question, followed by the app. For example, “The Wheel of Time on Prime Video.”

You can also do a general search by genre, actor, director, or other. Prime Video content related to your query will appear in the search results.

From the Prime Video app

In the Prime Video app menu at the top of the screen, you can search for specific content using the magnifying glass icon. Depending on the specificity of the keywords entered, several search results and various content that best match your query will appear.

To find Prime Video content to watch, you can also select Categories from the menu at the top of the screen to browse Prime Video suggestions and apply the Series, Movies, Amazon Originals, or Kids filters to narrow your search.  

To create your list of favourite content:

1. Select the content you want to add to your list.
2. On the content page, select + Add to Watchlist.  

To access your Watchlist:

1. From the Prime Video app menu at the top of the screen, select My Stuff.
2. Your favourite content is sorted according to their respective category.  

To leave the Prime Video app, you can:

• Press Exit on your remote to return to the TV
• Press Guide or HELIX on your remote to return to the Guide
