- If you’re within your local calling area, the standard airtime rate applies and variable long-distance charges apply, depending on your calls’ destination.
- If you’re outside your local calling area, long-distance or roaming charges may apply.

How do I make a long-distance call? To make a long-distance call, tap 1 on your mobile keypad, followed by your recipient’s 10-digit number (area code + seven-digit number, example: 1-514-123-4567) and tap SEND.
Long-distance charges on incoming calls
Generally, only the usual airtime charges apply when you receive long-distance calls. However, if you’re outside your local calling area at the time you receive a long-distance call, variable fees apply depending on where you receive the call.
Long-distance charges in Québec, in Canada (outside Québec) and in the United States are $0.75/min.
Long-distance charges on mobile
Do long-distance charges apply when I listen to my voice messages?
The rule for voice messages is the same as for call forwarding. If you listen to your voice messages from your local calling area, no long-distance charges apply. However, if you listen to them outside your local calling area, long-distance charges will apply.
If you listen to your voice messages while you’re in the United States or in Canada outside of Videotron’s extended network, roaming fees will apply, just as they do when listening to voice messages from any other country.
