Programming using the code list
This allows you to manually program a device according to the brand. To identify the codes for your device, see the list of codes.
- Turn on the device to be programmed.
- Hold down the SELECT button and one of the TV or VCR buttons (depending on the device to be programmed) until it lights up in red.
- Point the remote control at the device and enter the codes, one at a time.
- When the device turns off, press MUTE.
- If the device turns back on, press TV or VCR, as appropriate, to lock in the code.
- If the device doesn’t turn back on, repeat steps 2 to 5 with the following code.
Setting up the volume control
This allows you to configure the remote to control the TV volume when in CBL mode.
For better audio quality, change the Audio: Volume Ctrl option to Fixed in the terminal settings.
- Hold down the CBL and SELECT buttons until the red light stays on.
- Press the VOL+ button.
- Press TV or CBL (terminal) depending on the device whose volume you want to control.
Other programming method in case of failure
This allows you to find a compatible programming code for your device from the list of codes in the remote control.
- Turn on the device to be programmed.
- Hold down the SELECT button and one of the TV or VCR buttons (depending on the device to be programmed) until it lights up in red.
- Point the remote control at the device and hold down the CH+ button until the device turns off. This operation may take several minutes as all codes are tested one by one.
- As soon as the device turns off, release CH+ and press MUTE.
- If the device turns back on, press TV or VCR, as appropriate, to lock in the code.
- If the device doesn’t turn back on, press and release the CH- button, to test previous codes.
- As soon as the device turns back on, press the TV or VCR button, as appropriate, to lock in the code.
