Programming using the code list
This allows you to manually program a device according to the brand. To identify the codes for your device, see the list of codes.
- Turn on the device to be programmed.
- Hold down the SELECT button and one of the TV, VCR, or AUX buttons (depending on the device to be programmed) until it lights up in red.
- Enter a code. The button will flash twice.
- Point the remote control at the device, then press the POWER button.
- If the device turns off, programming is done.
- If the device doesn’t turn off, repeat the procedure with the following code.
Setting up the volume control
This allows you to select the device whose volume will be controlled by the remote.
For better audio quality, change the Audio: Volume Ctrl option to Fixed in the terminal settings.
- Hold down the CBL and SELECT buttons until the CBL button flashes twice.
- Enter code 9, 9, 3. The CBL button will flash twice again.
- Press TV, CBL (terminal), or AUX (audio system) depending on the device whose volume you want to control.
Other programming method in case of failure
This allows you to find a compatible programming code for your device from the list of codes in the remote control.
- Turn on the device to be programmed.
- Hold down the SELECT button and one of the TV, VCR, or AUX buttons (depending on the device to be programmed) until it lights up in red.
- Enter code 9, 9, 1. The button will flash twice.
- Point the remote control at the device and hold down the PLAY button. This operation may take several minutes as all codes are tested one by one.
- As soon as the device turns off, release the PLAY button, then press SELECT.
- Press the POWER button. If the device turns back on, press SELECT to lock in the code.
- If this fails, repeat the procedure.
