The pods extend your Wi-Fi network to the areas furthest from your Helix Fi gateway to eliminate dead areas and create a uniform coverage across the house to keep you connected when you change rooms.

You have everything to gain from installing pods if you see that the Wi-Fi signal is weak or intermittent in some rooms in your home. 

No, the pods are optional. Many homes only need the Helix Fi gateway to enjoy optimal Wi-Fi coverage. If some rooms in your home have a Wi-Fi signal that is too weak, pods provide the perfect solution by extending your coverage to serve these areas.

You must first subscribe to a Helix plan online or in-store. Then, if you find that you need to expand your coverage, you can purchase one or more Wi-Fi pods in My Account, in the Services and Equipment section. You will receive them in the mail and will be able to easily install them yourself using the Helix Fi app.

Pods are sold individually, as the recommended number of pods varies depending on factors such as the size of your home, the building materials used and the location of your Helix Fi gateway.

No. Installing the pods is easy and takes approximately 15 minutes. Simply plug the pods into a wall outlet, connect them to your Helix Fi gateway and activate them with the Helix Fi application.
