Reducing your services could result in the loss of a promotion or discount from your previous plan, which could increase your monthly balance. Pay close attention to the order summary to ensure that your change is worth it.
Changing your services online
- Sign in to My Account.
- In the Services and Equipment section, click on Change my services.
- Shop for available plans by clicking on the ones you’re interested in.
- Once you have made your selection, click on Continue.
- Verify the changes to your plan and your new monthly fee on the Order Summary.
- Click on Place my order to confirm the changes.
- If changes are made to your TV or TV App plan, you may need to choose your channels again.
Your new Helix Internet or Helix TV plan is activated moments following your changes, and your billing is adjusted at the same time. Your new monthly payment will appear on your next invoice, with all the details of the adjustment under the Details: Services > One-time fees section.
Warning: Attention: If you changed your Internet plan, your gateway will automatically reboot. You won’t have an Internet connection for about 5 to 6 minutes.
