How to enable or disable my mobile data
When mobile data is disabled, you can still make and receive calls, exchange text messages (SMS), and use the Internet on a Wi-Fi network.
Follow the procedure based on your device model.
Note: Depending on your device’s model, the procedure may vary slightly.
Note that mobile data is automatically re-enabled when the device is reset.
iPhone
- Go to Settings and select Cellular.
- Turn Cellular data on or off.

- Turn Mobile data on or off.

How to enable or disable data roaming
To use your mobile data outside Videotron’s coverage area, for example when travelling, you must enable data roaming.
Follow the procedure based on your device model.
iPhone
- Go to Settings, and select Cellular.
- Select Cellular Data Options.
- Turn Data Roaming on or off.

Yes. However, you can access the Internet via Wi-Fi only.
In such cases, you will no longer have access to certain features that require an Internet connection. For example:
- You will no longer receive updates related to your device, email, or mobile’s proper operation.
- You will no longer be able to use the multimedia messaging service (MMS).
- In the Helix TV app and other streaming apps (like Netflix), only downloaded content will be available.
