FAQ about mobile phones and Mobile Service
If you are a new Mobile client and you get your phone from one of our stores, your service is automatically activated. If you get your phone by mail and want to receive calls on your new phone before the system does so automatically, you may finalize the activation of your mobile phone by calling 1 877 477-5757 or accessing the “Complete your mobile service activation” functionality in the Mobile section of the Customer Centre.
If you already are a Mobile customer with another provider, you must request a number transfer from that provider. See the procedure
If you have a new phone number, insert the SIM card into your mobile device and it will activate automatically.
If you are keeping your current phone number, insert the SIM card into your mobile device and call our toll-free automated activation service: 1 833 657-5507.
If you’re not entirely satisfied with your phone, it can be returned within 30 days of purchase.
The device must be in "new" condition with all components, manuals and original packaging. The battery is considered as essential part of the mobile equipment. In order to benefit from the 30-day guarantee, any gift or bonus offered with the purchase must also be returned in like-new condition. SIM cards removed from packaging or activated cannot be returned. For the device, no exchange can be accepted.

2 Requires 68W charger. Median users can get up to 50% battery life in 15 minutes of charge when charge boost is enabled. Battery must be substantially depleted; charging rate slows as charging progresses. All battery life claims are approximate and based on the median user tested across a mixed use profile (which includes both usage and standby time) under optimal network conditions. Actual battery performance will vary and depends on many factors, including signal strength, network and device settings, temperature, battery condition, and usage patterns.
3 Water, splash and dust resistance were tested to IP68 standards under controlled laboratory conditions. Withstands immersion in up to 1.5 metres of fresh water for up to 30 minutes. Exposure to conditions beyond this rating are not covered by warranty. Resistance will decrease as a result of normal wear. Not designed to work while submerged underwater. Do not expose to pressurized water or to liquids other than fresh water. Do not attempt to charge a wet phone. Not waterproof.
