It entails offering the purchase of a new TCL K70 NXTPAPER 5G 128 GB device at $5/month, when the purchase is combined with a new subscription to the 100 GB Canada–US Mobile plan at $40/month (when combined with an eligible Internet plan), with a 24-month agreement. The customer gets a discount on the device valued at $192, that corresponds to a discount of $8 per month for 24 months. The warranty must be honoured by the manufacturer of the product or by the merchant who sold the product. This good working order warranty does not cover: (a) routine maintenance service and any resulting replacement of parts; (b) damage resulting from improper or abusive use by the customer; and (c) any accessory other than those prescribed by the applicable regulations. Conditions related to the Mobile plan: The Canada–US plan includes unlimited local and long-distance calls anywhere in Canada and the United States, and between the two countries. Use of the plan (calls, text messages, and data) is possible in the United States for a maximum of one hundred and twenty (120) days per year, calculated from the initial subscription date. If usage in the United States exceeds the one hundred and twenty (120) days per year, Videotron may charge overage fees or remove the privilege entirely. The Canada–US plan is not applicable on cruise ships and in areas that are not supported by a partner operator (offshore areas), and additional fees will be charged to the customer on a per-use basis. Multiservice discount: The multiservice discount consists of granting a monthly discount of $5 per Mobile Line, on subscription to a Mobile plan with a monthly service rate of $30 (before any discount or credit); a discount of $10 on subscription to a Mobile plan with a monthly service rate ranging from $50 to $60 (before any discount or credit); or a discount of $15 on subscription to a Mobile plan with a minimum monthly service rate of $70 (before any discount or credit), when customer also subscribes to an eligible Internet service. Conditions related to cancellation: Two monthly payments related to the purchase of the device will be recorded on the first invoice. If the agreement is cancelled before the end of the 24-month period, the remaining payments shall be borne by the customer, and if the device is discounted, an indemnity corresponding to the monthly amount of the discounted device multiplied by the number of months remaining, including applicable taxes, will apply.
