You have two ways to sign up to the Customer Center: with or without the activation email.
An activation email is sent to your email address when you subscribe. After 5 days, this activation email will expire. You can then complete the sign up form to register to the Customer Center by providing the requested information.
Who can sign up to the Customer Centre?
Anyone living in a household using at least one Videotron service (Internet, Television, Mobility or Home Phone).
If you are a Helix subscriber instead, you can create a Helix account or access My Account.
Only the Videotron account holder can fill out the Customer Centre registration form. This is the person in charge of the Videotron account who usually pays the monthly bill.
How to sign up online to the Customer Centre with an activation email.
When you subscribe to a Videotron service, an activation email will be sent to your correspondence email address.
It’s your gateway to sign up to the Customer Centre and it allows Videotron to identify you securely when you fill out the sign up form.
Good to know
After five days, your activation email will expire and you’ll no longer be able to use it to sign up to the Customer Centre. To sign up after it has expired, see How to sign up online to the Customer Centre without an activation email.
How to sign up online to the Customer Centre without an activation email
You can sign up to the Customer Centre without an activation email. First, make sure you meet the eligibility criteria by referring to Who can sign up to the Customer Centre? above.
To sign up to the Customer Centre without an activation email, fill out the sign up form and finish creating your Customer Centre account by providing the following information:
- Your Videotron account number
- Your chosen username
- The postal code of the home to which the Videotron services are provided
- Your date of birth
- Your email address
- Your chosen password
This personal information is important and will never be disclosed by Videotron.
How to sign up online to the Customer Centre if you are a secondary user
For the steps to register a secondary user, visit the Customer Centre user management page.
If you are not the account holder, you cannot sign yourself up to the Customer Centre.
The Videotron account holder must create secondary account users in the Customer Centre using the Managing Users tool under Your Account. This option only appears to the account holder.
How to choose your username
Enter the username you wish to use in the Customer Centre sign up form. We suggest you use your email address Our systems will verify that the username is available and meets the following criteria:
- Minimum 8 characters (maximum 50)
- Numbers accepted
- Symbols accepted: . - _
- Symbols not accepted: [Space] , = + < > # @
How to choose your password
Enter the password you wish to use in the Customer Centre sign up form. Choose a complex, yet easy-to-remember password. Our systems will verify that it meets our security criteria:
- At least 6 characters (maximum 16)
- Has at least one letter
- Has at least one number
- Does not include any of the symbols not accepted: [Space] , = + < > # @
