Why does my invoice seem higher?
Can’t figure out why your monthly payment isn’t the same as usual? Here are some reasons why your invoice may have changed.
First invoice or service change
If this is your first invoice and you have chosen to pay for your equipment in a single payment, this payment is due on this first invoice.
If you have made a change to your services, such as subscribing to more TV channels, your new monthly payment may be higher as this addition begins to be billed.
Good to know
When you make a change to your selection of services throughout the course of a billing cycle, your monthly balance will be adjusted on a pro-rated basis for the number of days remaining until the next billing cycle It means you will only pay for the period during which you have used the services.
For example, if you add a service halfway through your billing cycle, you will be billed for half the current monthly cost of the service and for the following month.
Pay-per-use services
If you have used services such as Video On Demand or À la carte TV, you will be charged for each service.
Termination of promotions and discounts
If you were on a promotion or discount for a specific period and that period of time has ended, you will now be charged the current fees for your services. Promotions and discounts details are listed on your Helix service contract.
